How Can We Not Go On!

In the every day work of the ministry of Seedline International, we meet and speak with some of God's special servants. Recently in a missions conference, I met a missionary that reaffirmed our commitment to producing and providing missionaries with the Word of God.

He is a missionary to the Romanian Gypsies. His story has challenged my heart as he shared about one of his trips to a Gypsy village. Please read and place yourself in his shoes.

You leave your warm home and family heading to one of the villages in the country that have requested you to come.  Word has spread that you preach about a man called Jesus.  They are interested in this message that is changing people's lives.

You make your way out into the countryside as the sun is setting. The sky is getting black from an approaching storm as nightfall creeps in. The road is not paved. It is made of some stone, but mostly dirt.  As you get closer to the village, it starts to rain.

As you arrive at the turn in the road to the village, the rain is a steady downpour. You know that you will not be able to drive all the way due to the condition of the road and you must walk the rest of the way. In your heart,  you want to go and share the Gospel, but you have forgotten your umbrella and the rain is cold making your way a muddy mess. Yet you begin your trek toward the village. The further you go,  the harder it seems to rain!
