From The Field Director’s Desk . . .
May 2009
The past few months have been interesting and full of life changing alterations for all of us. I would like to say that we are now through the worst of it. However, I don't think that we have yet seen the whole picture of our nation's economic and political struggles.
Many of you as individuals or churches have been challenged to say the least. Finances, or maybe we should say the lack of them, have a way of lowering our morale. Yes, that's right! Even we people who are supposed to be full of faith at all times have had our moments. Especially if we happen to speak with those who, for one reason or another, have not been affected. Then we wonder if we are over-reacting.
It is times like these that we must be reminded of our inheritance. Being an heir with Christ, we are well kept and ". . . God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19
These are times of rearrangements and reassignment. The fear of the unknown can be overwhelming when we are asked to leave that which is familiar in order to seek prosperity once more.
We have faced this situation here at Seedline International many, many times over the past 13 years. May we be an encouragement to you by saying, "God is faithful!" As you look for a new job-"God is faithful." As you start over financially-"God is faithful." As you continue to give to your church- "God is faithful" As you kneel beside your bed in question, "God is still faithful."
