"Facing The Unfinished Task"

Dear Friends,

Seedline International is moving forward in the Haiti Relief effort. We shipped a second container February 19. It is en route to missionary Rodney Fitzsimmons.

It contains 30,000 lbs. of food and 12,000 lbs. of Scripture and Gospel coloring books. A total of 38,010 lbs. Praise the Lord!

Thank you to all of those who are helping to meet this tremendous need! It is the heart that is making a difference!

Haitian President Preval cancelled the Mardi Gras ("Fat Tuesday") festivities on February 16. He called for three days of fasting and prayer for the country. This could lead to a spiritual awakening, time will tell. We have to seize this moment while hearts are tender. They may soon turn to bitterness. Pray that many will continue to accept Christ as the missionaries continue to show the true Light to the Haitian people.

Reports are coming in that it would take 1,000 dump trucks 1,000 days to clear the debris. That would move this tragedy out three years or more. Pray for the missionaries that they may have strength and endurance to minister in the coming days!

Seedline International is gathering food and Scripture for a third container. Pray with us as we move to minister and help the folks of Haiti.

1. This woman's leg required extensive surgery.

2. The metal pins protrude almost a foot as they had no way of cutting the metal. The hospital borrowed bolt cutters to do the job.

3. First container of aid has arrived in port. Please pray that the container clears customs quickly so that the supplies can be disbursed where they are most needed.

4. Traveling in Haiti can be exciting even on a good day.

5. Cathy Fitzsimmons has organized some ladies from the church to help prepare meals for the victims at the hospital. They have fed as many as 153 people at one time.

LITTLE LIVES AFFECTED

(left) This precious little bundle of joy from God was born almost 3 months premature after her mother was injured in the earthquake. (right) Evens is orphaned at 9 months old. His father was killed in the quake and his mother died shortly after she arrived at the Gonaives hospital from quake related injuries. No other family members have been located. Evens has AIDS.
